Now Hiring: Fabrication Technician – Concord, NC

Openwork is partnered with a local company in Concord, NC and is seeking a skilled Fabrication Technician to support the production of commercial aluminum fenestration products. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on fabrication or metalworking experience who take pride in quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily fabrication tasks, including cutting, machining, and shop pre-assembly of aluminum fenestration products

• Assemble and fit aluminum parts and extrusions using hand tools and machinery

• Maintain quality control and ensure individual work meets team production standards

• Meet daily and weekly production goals as assigned by supervisors

• Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and to company standards
• Pay based off experience
• First shift hours

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Proficient with Apple iPad tablets and construction-related applications

• Basic understanding of architectural and structural drawings, including façade shop drawings

• Strong communication skills with supervisors and team members

• Proficient in basic math and able to read a tape measure accurately

• Ability to bend, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in metalworking or a related industry

Work Environment:

• Average 40–45 hours per week

Certifications:

• OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
