Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Houston, TX- Hobby Areas
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM ā€“ 12:00 Midnight)
Pay: $35ā€“$40 per hour (based on experience)
Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced CNC Machinist to join a specialized manufacturing company in Houston. This company supports industrial operations by producing precision-machined components used in rotating equipment and critical applications.
Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines
  • Work with and modify CNC programs as needed
  • Program and edit using GibbsCAM
  • Interpret blueprints, tolerances, and technical drawings
  • Ensure parts meet quality and precision standards
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues on the shop floor
Requirements:
  • ~10 years of CNC machining experience
  • GibbsCAM experience required
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes
  • Ability to work independently on complex jobs
  • High attention to detail and quality
